Alice Elizabeth Langford Rush, 89, died on Aug. 23, 2021 at her home in Lometa. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 27 at School Creek Cemetery. Sneed Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sapien

Daniel L. Sapien, 76, of Terrell and formerly of Lampasas, died on Aug. 19, 2021 at Dallas Medical Center in Farmers Branch. Daniel was born on Jan. 18, 1945 in Lampasas to Gumencindo Sapien and Manuela Longoria Sapien. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Daniel was a carpenter by trade.

Ms. Melendez

LaDonna Marie Sapien Melendez, 50, of Terrell died Aug. 22, 2021 at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett. She was born Dec. 31, 1970 in Dallas to Daniel Sapien and Ramona Hartsell Sapien. As a child, she lived in Lampasas and moved to the Dallas area when she was a teen.

Ella Jean Teague

Loving Memory – Ella Jean Teague Ella Teague was born in Ft Davis, Texas in 1934 to Barney William Teague & Maude Adele Cooksey Teague as child number 8. Her 50 years of teaching showed her love of education and was a gift that touched many lives over the years as Coach, Counselor, and Teacher.

Sally Alcaras, 63, of Lampasas died on Aug. 20, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. She was born on Sept. 14, 1957 in Lampasas to Louis Garza Sr. and Mary Marez Garza. Sally was a lifetime resident of Lampasas.

Mr. Coronado

Mancho Alloy Coronado, 38, of Lampasas died Aug. 20, 2021, at AdventHealth Rollins Brook. He was a lifetime resident of Lampasas, born on Nov. 14, 1982 to Prudencio Coronado and Mary Lou Gauna Coronado. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Mancho loved his family.

Kenneth Miller, 63, of Lampasas died Aug. 19, 2021. Graveside services were at Oak Hill Cemetery on Aug. 21. Kenneth was born Jan. 17, 1958 in Kermit to Wilburn and Peggy Miller. He graduated from high school in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Afterward, he joined the U.S.

Former commissioner Harkey dies

Tommy Eugene Harkey, 89, of Lampasas died at Lily Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lampasas on Aug. 18, 2021. Harkey served as a Lampasas County commissioner for two terms, until his retirement on Dec. 31, 1998. Visitation was held Aug.
