Mr. Daude

Daniel Earl Daude, 78, of Adamsville died Sept. 22, 2021, at Coryell Medical Center in Gatesville.

Daniel was born on Jan. 3, 1943, in Waco to Alvin Daude and Lydia Kattner Daude.

He and Linda Thomas were married on April 11, 1962, in Lampasas. He had resided in the Lampasas and Kempner area his entire adult life.

Daniel was a rancher, owned his own construction business until he retired, and raised and rescued mustang horses for many years.

His hobbies were leatherworking and saddle making, and he was gifted in his craft. He was blessed by being able to do what he loved for his life’s work.

Daniel had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Copperas Cove.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Daude of Adamsville; one son, Darrell Daude, and wife Patricia of Belton; one daughter, Joanne Goelzer and husband Scott of Durham, New Hampshire; and three grandchildren, Jakob Daude of Belton, and Molly Goelzer and Leah Goelzer of Durham, N.H.

Daniel was preceded in death by one brother, James Daude, and one sister, Frances Kube.No services are scheduled at this time. Mr. Daude’s body will be cremated. Heritage Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
