Frank Tores Martinez, 81, of Lampasas, died peacefully in Temple on Sept. 14, 2026.
Visitation will be held Sept. 20 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
Services also will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Sept. 21 at 10 a.m., with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Frank was born in Lampasas on Oct. 4, 1944, to Trana and Fidelia Martinez.
After high school, Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a mechanic for most of his life.
Frank enjoyed dominoes and going to the local VFW to play in tournaments. He played dominoes until he could no longer do so, due to illness.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Rachel Pierre, and husband, Dion; grandchildren DaMarcus Jones, YaNija Surles and Tava Surles; a greatgranddaughter, Mehilani Surles; and numerous other family members and friends.
