Betty was born at Rollins Brook Hospital on Feb. 2, 1938, to James “Clyde” Cole and Zelda Fae (Jordan) Cole.
She graduated from Lampasas High School where she was a highscoring basketball player.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Debbie Austin Dorff, and husband, Brad, of Austin; their two children, Cody Dorff and wife Samantha of Houston, and Cassy Dorff of Nashville, Tennessee; three greatgrandchildren, Landon, Liam and Ava Dorff of Houston; and a niece, Stephanie Satterfield of Cameron.
Betty was preceded in death by her son, Ray Austin; her husband, Roy “Rick” Goff; and her brother, Clyde Ray “Sonny” Cole.
Betty was an avid sewer and enjoyed making quilts and projects for her home. She especially loved embroidering and making gifts for friends. But what Betty enjoyed most was seeing her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She loved them very much and was a great Mimi.
Betty and her husband of 43 years, Rick, loved to travel internationally. When they were back home, they enjoyed movies and a nice dinner out.
