Dee Dishman, 81, a longtime resident of Lampasas, died on Oct. 3, 2021, in Lampasas.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1939, to James Dickison and Estaleen Bailey Dickison.
Dee served in the United States Army.
He was a rancher, and his hobby was barbecuing. Dee loved his family. He was a Christian.
Dee is survived by three sons, Dan Dishman and wife Ashley of Kempner, Mitch Fortner and wife Robin of Longview, and Dale Dishman of Lampasas; two daughters, Audra Dishman and husband Loren Hutchins of Parker, Colorado and Laura Schuman and husband Jamie of Gustine, Texas; two sisters, Donna Kessler and husband Rob of Lampasas, and Sue Hernandez of Los Angeles, California; 14 grandchildren, Zac, Sydney, Drake, Colton, Chase, Caitlyn, Addison, Dan, Kendall, Mallary, Megan, Madie, William and Max; and four great-grandchildren, Tijs, Ramsey, Miller and Charlie Ann.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
No services are planned at this time. He will be cremated. Heritage Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
