Mrs. Chaison

Linda Chaison, age 72 of Temple, died Dec. 15, 2021 at her residence. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 29, 2022 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Temple, with a reception following. The family also will host a memorial in Comfort, Texas on Feb. 5.

Mrs. McCoy-Cooper

Quezal Kuuipoaloha McCoy-Cooper, 59, of Lampasas died at her residence Dec. 18, 2021. She was born in Alameda, California on July 26, 1962 to Frank McCoy and Mildred Ranken McCoy.

Mr. West

James Carl “JC” West, 57, of Balmorhea died at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio on Dec. 17, 2021. He was born on June 25, 1964 in Llano to Frank West and Bonnie Pavey West. He and Pricilla Rhymes were married on Oct. 12, 1982 in Lampasas.

Mr. Griffin

Fred Griffin died on Dec. 11, 2021 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehab Center, at the age of 97. Graveside services were held at Nix Cemetery on Dec. 15. Fred was born Nov. 24, 1924 in Robstown to David B. and Lavinia Lovelace Griffin. He spent his early years in Calallen on the family farm.

Gary Allen Guyer, 88, of Kempner died on Dec. 7, 2021. Visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Dec. 16 from noon to 2 p.m. Graveside services with military honors will follow at 3 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Daniel

Daryl Gene Daniel, 88, of Briggs died on Dec. 7, 2021 in Lampasas. Visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 13, also at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Briggs.

Mrs. Keighler

Alice Armentia Keighler, 80, of Palm Bay, Florida died Nov. 29, 2021 at her home. She was born Jan. 7, 1941 in Burnet to Elmer Cox and Lola (Henderson) Cox. She was an accountant and worked many years with the family business.

Mr. Keighler

Justin Dean Keighler, 63, of Palm Bay, Florida lost his battle with cancer on Dec. 3, 2021. He was born Aug. 10, 1958 in Lampasas to Joseph Jones and Alice (Cox) Keighler. He worked at the family blind business in Palm Bay, Florida for many years. He loved to go fishing in his free time.

Mrs. Ralph

Addie Mae Williams Ralph, 94, of Lampasas died on Dec. 5, 2021, at the Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Dec. 11 from 9:30-11 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Kempner Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Addie Mae was born on Aug.
