Mr. Campbell

Robert Douglas Campbell Jr., 81, died on Jan. 8, 2022 in Scottsdale, Arizona. A funeral service will be held at New Covenant Church in Lampasas Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Visitation will be at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Jan. 21 from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Brauer

David Brauer, 85, died on Dec. 31, 2021 at his home in Ironton, Missouri. Mr. Brauer was born on Dec. 15, 1936 in St. Louis. He moved to Lampasas, Texas in 1950 and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1954. After serving in the Army, he earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from St.

Ms. McElhannon

Kayla Renee McElhannon, 40, died on Jan. 3, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in The Woodlands. She was born Feb. 13, 1981, to John D. and Tanya Geis McElhannon. A memorial service will be held at Lampasas Community Church on Jan. 9 at 2 p.m., officiated by Roland Schaub.

Mr. Reavis

Nolan Paul Reavis, 70, died on Jan. 1, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. A graveside service will be held at Tobey Cemetery, 630 Burnet County Road 221, at 1 p.m. on Jan. 8. The family will visit with friends immediately after the burial.

Mr. McLean

Michael Stanley McLean, 69, of Lampasas died on Dec. 19, 2021. He was born in Lampasas on Oct. 10, 1952 to William Joseph McLean and Peggy Nell Hoover McLean. Michael married Lou Gene Pierce on Sept. 5, 1987 in Lampasas at the Gillen House.

Mr. Butts

Harold Gene Butts, 87, died on Dec. 22, 2021, at his home in Lampasas. A graveside service was held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Dec. 26. Harold was born on April 28, 1934 in Lampasas to Dick and Claudia Buchanan Butts.

Mr. Gant

Gary Eugene Gant, 50, of Lampasas died Dec. 23, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas hospital in Killeen. He was born Jan. 7, 1971 in Austin to Charles Gant and Maryann Fields. He lived all his life in Lampasas and attended Lampasas High School. He married Catherine Cook on Nov. 7, 2011.

Mrs. Smithwick

Mary Katherine Smithwick, 73, of Lampasas died on Dec. 26, 2021 at her residence. Mary was born on July 24, 1948 in Lampasas to Willie Frank and Laura Frances Jones-Attaway. She had remained a Lampasas resident all her life.

Mrs. Smith

Laurie Wycoff Smith, 58, died the morning of Dec. 22, 2021, at her home in Lometa. She was born on Jan. 25, 1963 to Joel and Sally Wyckoff in Geneva, New York. Laurie grew up in Lodi and graduated from South Seneca High School in Ovid, New York, in 1981.

Mr. Mallett

Melvin Odell Mallett died peacefully on Dec. 23, 2021, under the care of Lampasas Nursing and Rehab. Odell was born to NB Bernard Mallett and Estelee Berry Mallett on Sept. 6, 1928 in Burnet County, where he lived his entire life until his recent illness.
