Mary Elizabeth Hankins, 71, of Lampasas died on Jan. 29, 2022. She died peacefully in the hospital due to medical complications.
Her body will be returned to her family in West Virginia, where she grew up and attended Smoot High School.
Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas has charge of arrangements.
Mary was a Principal real estate broker in Oregon for more than 20 years. That is where she met her husband, Joe, of 17 years.
Mary was also an Associate Broker for Texas Real Estate Sales in Lampasas. She loved her work and her clients.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Lucille Coll.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Hankins; son, Rick Ralston; and grandson, Cole Hankins.
Donations may be made in Mary's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at the Creekside Retreat, at 1177 County Road 3010 in Lampasas, at 2 p.m. on June 5.
