Smiles filled the faces of the Lady Badgers throughout a comfortable, three-set sweep of Waco High on Tuesday night, as Lampasas won 25-12, 25-9, 25-16.

Badger tennis cruises over Gatesville

The Lampasas High School tennis team made a dominant statement in its first home match of the fall season, rolling past Gatesville 16-3 on Tuesday to improve to 5-1 on the season.Head coach Kenneth Peiser liked what he saw enough that he rewarded the Badgers with a lighter practice Wednesday.

New opportunities can be a challenge, especially when taking the next step in one’s professional career. For new Lometa volleyball head coach Madison Morris, becoming the leader for the team felt like an answered prayer, and the Lampasas graduate hopes to make the most of her opportunity.

The Lampasas Lady Badger volleyball team faced stiff competition at the Tex-Fest tournament Thursday through Saturday in Wimberly.Across the three-day stretch, the Lady Badgers finished with a 1-8 record, moving them to 2-8 on the season.
