Mr. Seelow

Mark Watson Seelow, 60, of Kempner died on Jan. 28, 2022, at his residence.

Memorial services are planned at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel for Feb. 19 at 10 a.m.

Mark was born on July 13, 1961 in Warner Robins, Georgia to Glenn and Betty (Duffek) Seelow. He grew up in Universal City, Texas, and graduated from Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz in 1980.

After high school, he attended college classes to be an X-ray technician and worked for many X-ray companies in Lubbock, including Gilbert X-ray, Excel Imaging and Covenant Hospital.

Mark loved humor and was known for his jokes and puns.

He was active in Boy Scouts with his father and brothers and received the honor of Eagle Scout in 1979. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Dallas Cowboys were his team, and he never missed a game. He also had a passion for his vehicles and made sure they were clean and decked out with the latest gear.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Robert Seelow, and brother, Glenn Mike Seelow.

Survivors include his daughters Sarah Seelow of Sisterdale and Michelle Seelow of Lubbock; siblings Budd (Tammy) Seelow of Llano, Elaine Krewet of Universal City and Barbara (Kevin) VanSpanje of Cherry Valley, New York; grandchildren Zoey Seelow, Addison and Hudson McCreless, and Dakota Snodgrass; nieces and nephews Jason and Michael Orlowski, Kelly Kakish, Alex and Steven French, Emma and Eleanor VanSpanje, Casey and Joey.
