Wilson Lee "Buddy" Stewart, 74, died on Feb. 13, 2022, at AdventHealth Rollins Brook in Lampasas. Services will be held at School Creek Baptist Church on Feb. 19 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Smith Cemetery at School Creek. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Ms. Compton

Betty Jean Compton, 75, of Copperas Cove died at her residence on Feb. 3, 2022. Betty was born on May 24, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas to Fred Tullis and Velma Anthony Tullis. She moved to Copperas Cove from Lometa in 2009.

Mr. Cummins

Robert Douglas Cummins, 79, of Lampasas died on Feb. 4, 2022 at BSA Hospital in Amarillo. Robert was born in Lampasas on Oct. 13, 1942 to Robert W. and Lena M. Waldrop Cummins, and grew up here.

Mr. Fuller

Lester Ray Fuller, 72, died on Feb. 2, 2022 at his home in Lampasas after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. The family held a private service at their home in Lampasas on Feb. 6. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements. Ray was born on Dec.

Mrs. Lund

Patricia Lou (Shea) Lund, 81, of Kempner, died on Feb. 1, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Feb. 11 at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Kempner Cemetery. Pat was born on Oct. 29, 1940 in Goffstown, New Hampshire.

Mrs. Lohmann

Cloy Lee Lohmann, 63, of Copperas Cove and formerly a longtime resident of Lampasas, died on Feb. 9, 2022, at Copperas Cove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Feb. 6, 1959, in Victoria to Rudolph Willie Lohmann and Thelma Faye McCormack Dodgion.

Mr. Griffin

Daniel Waldo Griffin, 68, a longtime resident of Lampasas, died on Jan. 30, 2022 in Killeen. Daniel was born on Oct. 1, 1953 in Taylor to Melvin Waldo Griffin and Doris Mae Henniger Griffin Poe. He married Nancy Reed on Jan. 27, 1973 at the Baptist church in Lake Victor.

Mr. Hatchell

Ralph Wayne Hatchell, 74, of Lampasas died on Jan. 31, 2022 in Temple. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at Center Cemetery in Lometa. Ralph was born June 10, 1947 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Carl and Katherine Hatchell. He served his county in the U.S.

Mrs. Mitchell

JoAnn Wilkins Mitchell, 90, of the Harman community of Coryell County, died on Jan. 30, 2022 in Gatesville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 5 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Don McConnaughhay officiating. Interment will follow at Pidcoke Cemetery.

Bobby Joe Smith, 80, of Lampasas, died on Jan. 30, 2022 in Temple. Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Feb. 5 at 2 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Bobby Joe was born on Jan. 7, 1942 in Palestine to T.A. and Kay Smith.
