Mrs. Dowdy

Rebecca Virginia Dowdy died on Aug. 10, 2023, in Schulenburg. Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Aug. 16 at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.

Mr. Jenkins

David Everett Jenkins, 63, died on Aug. 13, 2023, at his home in Lampasas. A service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. on Aug. 19. The family will greet friends and relatives after the service. Dave was born on Dec.

Mr. Salazar

Richard Salazar, 71, of Lampasas died on Aug. 8, 2023. Rosary was held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Aug. 10, and visitation followed. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Aug. 11 at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kuehl

Kimberly Kuehl died Aug. 4, 2023, in her home with her husband at her side. She was 56 years of age. She was born in Hale Center, Hale County, Texas on Feb. 6, 1967 to Tommy Odom and his wife, Dorothy Gore Odom.

Mrs. McDaniel

Helen Pearl McDaniel, 93, of Lampasas died on July 30, 2023, in Temple. Visitation took place at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Aug. 2. Graveside services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. Helen was born Sept. 15, 1929 in Briggs to Fred and Emma Gertrude Reavis.

Mr. Luetkenhoelter

Brian Allen Luetkenhoelter, 78, died on July 31, 2023, in Lampasas. No services are planned at this time. Brian was born on Feb. 15, 1945, to Allen and Velma (Pritchett) Luetkenhoelter. He served his country in the U.S. Army and afterward was employed mostly as an electrician.

Mrs. Archie

Sharon Elizabeth Archie, 75, died at her home in Spring on June 24, 2023. A memorial service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on July 29 at 2 p.m., with the interment of her urn to follow at Rock Church Cemetery in Rumley. Sharon was born to Ken and Dolly Ports on Oct.

Mr. Harrison

Alton Lloyd Harrison, 74, of Lampasas died at home on July 18, 2023. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on July 25 at 10 a.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. Alton was born on Feb. 24, 1949 in Lampasas to Kyle and Melba Harrison.

Mr. Greer

R.O. Greer III, 65, of Lampasas died on July 11, 2023 in Killeen. Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on July 19 at 10 a.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. He was born on Dec. 31, 1957, in Lampasas to R.O. Greer Jr. and Billye Louise Greer.

Mr. Piper

Billy Joe Piper died July 12, 2023, at his home with his wife of 62 years, Lois Piper, by his side. Billy was born in Lampasas on March 24, 1939 to Joe and Oveta Piper.
