Sharon Elizabeth Archie, 75, died at her home in Spring on June 24, 2023.
A memorial service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on July 29 at 2 p.m., with the interment of her urn to follow at Rock Church Cemetery in Rumley.
Sharon was born to Ken and Dolly Ports on Oct. 17, 1947, in Fredrick, Maryland.
She grew up in Maryland and San Antonio, Texas, and attended Tarleton State University where she earned a Bachelor of Education.
Her family moved to Lampasas in 1974, and she served as a kindergarten and visually impaired teacher for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Archie; her children Amy and Andrew Archie; and her grandchildren Karman, Ethan and Elijah Archie.
