David Tobias Bland, 63, of Lampasas died on July 2, 2023, in Killeen. Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on July 13 at 2 p.m., with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Abrams

Eugene “Uncle Buddy” Marshall Abrams, 85, died on July 3, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church on July 12 at 10 a.m. Interment after the service will be private.

Mrs. Wallace

Moon Soon Hahm Wallace died on July 2, 2023. She was born on March 26, 1928 in Seoul, Korea, and spent most of her youth in Manchuria, China. After fleeing Manchuria at the end of World War II, she went to work for the U.S.

Ms. Garza

Beatrice Moreno Garza, 102, died on June 26, 2023, at Lily Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lampasas. Services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on July 1 at 1 p.m., with visitation an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Rhymes

Jennifer Lynn Rhymes, 42, of Lampasas died on June 7, 2023 in Austin. Jennifer will be buried with her husband on July 3 at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. Jennifer was born in Beatrice, Nebraska to William “Bill” and Karen Fralin.

Mr. Kennedy

Terry Glenn Kennedy died on June 23, 2023. He was born in Slaton on Dec. 13 1966, to Arvel Gene and France Wyvonne Kennedy.

Mr. Morrow

Charlie Doyle Morrow died on June 19, 2023, with his wife of 57 years by his bedside. Doyle, as his friends and family called him, was a loving, gentle and kind man who would be the first to offer a helping hand. He loved spending time with his family and making people laugh.
