Mrs. Bulloch

Bennie Earle DuVall Bulloch died on Nov. 5, 2023. She was at home with family. A memorial service will be held the week of Christmas to accommodate traveling family members. Details will be announced in the coming weeks. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel of Lampasas has charge of arrangements.

Ms. Hackbirth

Sandee Hackbirth, 71, of Lampasas, died Nov. 9, 2023. She was born on Jan. 1, 1952, in Gloversville, New York to the late Herbert Gay and Norma J Raymond Gay. Sandee, the sassy queen of entrepreneurship, could whip up a storm in the kitchen or behind the wheel of her trucking company.

Mrs. Shrader

Jane Claire Field Shrader, 88, died on Nov. 11, 2023, in Burnet after a long illness. She was born on Feb. 18, 1935, in Many, Louisiana and spent her childhood in rural Louisiana. She met Dan Shrader while they were attending Stephen F. Austin State University.

Mrs. Flud

Cora Lee Flud, 72, of Grand Prairie died on Nov. 7, 2023. She was born in Lampasas to Virgil and Corine Cox on Aug. 7, 1951. She married James Flud on Sept. 6, 1986 in Kempner. Cora graduated from Lampasas High School and attended El Centro College, where she received her nursing degree.

Ms. Morris

Doreen May Morris died on Nov. 9, 2023, at Lily Springs in Lampasas at the age of 85. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Oct. 10, 1938, to Edward and Eleanora Krueger. Doreen dedicated many years of her life to civil service, working as a computer programmer at Fort Hood.

Mrs. Bulloch

Bennie DuVall Bulloch, 90, died Nov. 5, 2023 at her home in Lampasas. A memorial service at First Baptist Church in Lampasas is planned for December. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. The family is composing the obituary, which will be available later.

Mrs. Crownover

Martha Marie Crownover, 89, of Lewisville died on Sept. 30, 2023 in Lewisville. Martha was born July 28, 1934 in Lampasas to Elton Wright Machen Sr. and Lottie Wheelus Machen. She was a graduate of Lampasas High School. She was known as “Mother,” “Nana” or “Aunt Martha” to those who loved her.

Mr. Maceyra

Victor Maceyra, 64, died in his sleep on Oct. 25, 2023, in Lamesa. Victor is survived by his two children, daughter Crystal Rodriguez and husband Julio, and son Victor Maceyra Jr.

Mr. Dimas

Lupe C. “Papaw” Dimas, 96, of Lampasas, died Oct. 28, 2023 at his home in Lampasas. Rosary will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Nov. 2 at 6 p.m., with visitation to follow. The Funeral Mass will be Nov. 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 2 p.m.

Mr. Ivy

Harvey Noel Ivy, 95, died on Oct. 25, 2023, at the Ascension Seton hospital in Round Rock. Graveside services will be held Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. at Center Cemetery in Lometa, on County Road 40. Harvey was born on Aug. 13, 1928, in Lometa to Angus Ivy and Verna (Smallwood) Ivy.
