Ms. Hannaford

Nancy Atwood Hannaford, 73, died on Aug. 1, 2023, in Lampasas. No service is scheduled at this time. Nancy was born June 17, 1950 in Germany to William and Bonnie Clay. She later met her partner of 38 years, Larry Rutledge. They resided in Lampasas, where she was a dog groomer for many years.

Mr. Rogers

Larry Duglis Rogers, 79, died on Aug. 5, 2023, in Copperas Cove. No service is planned. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Joyce Rogers; daughter, Deanne Howard; grandson, Cort Howard; a sister, Glenda January; and many nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to St.

Mr. Torres

Rene was born to Faustino and Mary Torres in Lampasas on Sept. 1, 1965. Rene, 57, of Burnet, died on Aug. 10, 2023, in Round Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faustino and Mary, and two brothers, Faustino Jr. and Diego Torres.

Mr. Nuckles

Capt. James Frank “Jim” Nuckles, 87, died at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin on Aug. 10, 2023. Jim was a highly decorated veteran who served in the Vietnam War and spent 20 years on active duty in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Uhler

Bernard Christian Uhler II, 48, of Lampasas, died on Aug. 12, 2023. A service will be held on Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel. Benny was born on Aug. 30, 1974 to Bernard and Deborah Kay Uhler. He was preceded in death by his mother on Jan.

Mrs. Dowdy

Rebecca Virginia Dowdy died on Aug. 10, 2023, in Schulenburg. Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Aug. 16 at 11 a.m., with visitation an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.

Mr. Jenkins

David Everett Jenkins, 63, died on Aug. 13, 2023, at his home in Lampasas. A service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. on Aug. 19. The family will greet friends and relatives after the service. Dave was born on Dec.

Mr. Salazar

Richard Salazar, 71, of Lampasas died on Aug. 8, 2023. Rosary was held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Aug. 10, and visitation followed. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Aug. 11 at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kuehl

Kimberly Kuehl died Aug. 4, 2023, in her home with her husband at her side. She was 56 years of age. She was born in Hale Center, Hale County, Texas on Feb. 6, 1967 to Tommy Odom and his wife, Dorothy Gore Odom.

Mrs. McDaniel

Helen Pearl McDaniel, 93, of Lampasas died on July 30, 2023, in Temple. Visitation took place at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Aug. 2. Graveside services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. Helen was born Sept. 15, 1929 in Briggs to Fred and Emma Gertrude Reavis.
