Mrs. Dunn

Charlotte Rose Dunn, 85, of Copperas Cove died at Lily Springs Rehabilitation Center in Lampasas on May 7, 2021. Charlotte had lived in Copperas Cove since 2016, when she moved there from Ogden, Utah. She was born on June 24, 1935 in Tamms, Illinois to Julia Sheltie Maze and her husband.

Mrs. Perkins

Janie Sue Morrison Brown Perkins of Naruna, McCreaville and Lampasas was born Nov. 16, 1931. She died peacefully at Lampasas Assisted Living Facility on May 5, 2021, at age 89. Graveside services were held at Naruna Cemetery on May 10.

Bobby Fritz Bostic

Bobby Fritz Bostic, age 82 of Lampasas and formerly of Burnet passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from complications of Parkinson’s. He was born October 7, 1938, in Burnet to Fritz and Opal McDaniel Bostic. Bob is remembered by his family as first being a Christian, raised in a Christian home.

Mr. Alexander

Ronald "Ronnie" Scott Alexander, 79, of Lampasas died April 30, 2021 at his residence. A memorial celebration will be held May 22 at 1 p.m. at New Covenant Church in Lampasas with Pastor Darrell Feemster officiating. Ronnie was born on Nov. 25, 1941 in Lampasas to Charles Albert Alexander Jr.

Mrs. Sluder

Angel Michelle Sluder, 34, of Lampasas died at St. David’s Hospital in Austin on April 25, 2021. She was born on Jan. 12, 1987 in Llano to Delbert and Konnett Bynum Cloud. She grew up in the Lampasas area and had lived in Rockport several years before relocating to Lampasas over 10 years ago.

Mrs. Perkins

Miss Porter

Miss Katie Love Porter, 14, died on April 25, 2021 at her residence in Lampasas. She was born on Oct. 27, 2006 in Plano. She had lived in Lampasas for the past three years with her parents, Donnie and Melloney Crouch Porter. Katie loved music and playing games with her family and friends.

Mrs. Hardy

Ruth Hardy, 97, died on May 1, 2021, in Lampasas. Visitation will be held May 6 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. May 7 at Lometa Church of Christ, with interment to follow at Senterfitt Cemetery.

Mr. Smith

Guy Loyal Smith, 76, died on May 1, 2021 in Gatesville. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. May 5 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. May 6 at Gillum Cemetery in Oakalla, with the Rev. Kevin Veazey officiating.

Mrs. Wiley

Sandra Kay Wiley, 77, of Kempner died April 24, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. April 30 at Tobey Cemetery in Oakalla. Sneed Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.
