Jesse Granville McCoy Jr., 77, died July 1, 2021 in Abilene. Visitation was July 5 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. July 6 at Adamsville Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Hines Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Fischer

Marvin Wayne Fischer, 72, of Lampasas died June 28, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. He was born on Jan. 26, 1949 in Big Lake to Morgan Colonel and Beuna (Tindall) Fischer. Marvin grew up in Lampasas, moved to Waco, then returned to Lampasas in 2014.

Mr. Wilkinson

Douglas Lloyd Wilkinson, 74, of Lampasas was born Dec. 24, 1946 in Bloomfield, Iowa to Marvin and Opal (Halsey) Wilkinson. He died at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple on June 27, 2021, due to complications after surgery. Doug attended school in Ottumwa, Iowa and graduated in 1966.

Services set for former Lometa councilwoman

Betty Evelyn Poe, 84, of Lometa died June 24, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. Funeral services will be July 8 at 11 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow at School Creek Cemetery. Betty was born to Keston O.P.

Feed store owner, stock show champion George Herrmann dies

George Harrell Herrmann, 70, of Lampasas died June 30, 2021 at his home. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. July 6 at Oak Hill Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home of Lampasas has charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Spivey

Mrs. Jo Spivey, 77, of Lampasas died on June 23, 2021 at Advent Health Central Texas in Killeen. Jo was born on Sept. 5, 1943 in Brady to Hugo and Floy (Ludwick) Otte. She and Leonard Spivey were married at their home at 1205 W. First St. in Lampasas on Oct. 17, 1981, almost 40 years ago. Mrs.

Rosie Mae Armbrister, 62, died on June 25, 2021, at her residence in Lampasas. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on June 29 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. June 30 at Live Oak Cemetery in Youngsport.

Michael Payton Lynch

Michael Payton Lynch, 68, of Midlothian, passed into heaven on June 21, 2021. Mike was born on February 28, 1953, in Lampasas, Texas, to the late Charles and Laverne Lynch, and his family was active in the community for almost thirty years.

Mrs. Krans

Caroline Mae Krans, 96, of Lampasas died on Father’s Day, June 20, 2021, at home. Memorial services will be held June 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Memorial gifts may be made to the church.

Mr. Paulson

Jerry Alfred Paulson died on June 18, 2021 in Abilene. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lori Dillard Machen Paulson; and sons Justin Paulson (Sarah) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Tyler Paulson of Abilene. He had four grandchildren: Nola, Jude, Parker and James.
