Katherine Jean (Wilhelmson) Greiner passed from this life, peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:15 pm at the age of 78. Katherine was born in Covina, California, on March 30, 1943, to Ruth Adina Wilhelmson, who had emigrated to America from Sweden.

Dame "Susie" Anderson, 89, died on July 17, 2021 at her residence in Covington, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. July 24 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, with graveside services to follow at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Rick Willis officiating.

Dolores Irma Benoist, 66, of Lampasas died on July 18, 2021 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Dolores was born on July 27, 1954 in Tucson, Arizona to Oscar and Juanita (Hernandez) Gonzales.

Ms. Sapien

Manuela Adelia “Della” Sapien, 73, of Lampasas died on July 14, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. She was born on Aug. 28, 1947 in Lampasas to Gumencindo and Manuela (Longoria) Sapien. She lived in Lampasas all her life. Della graduated from Lampasas High School in 1968.

John Quinton Oakley, known as “Big John” amongst family and close friends, died peacefully after a brief illness with family at his side on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the age of 90. John was born on August 25, 1930, to John Tee and Grace Jones Oakley in Lake Victor, Burnet County, Texas.

Ina Rose Whitney, 83, died on July 11, 2021 at her home in Argyle. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on July 14 at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa. Ina was born on March 14, 1938 in Dallas to Jack and Dorothy (Dean) Maples. She grew up in Dallas and married Joe Whitney in 1978 in Dallas.
