W.C. Richardson, 75, of Lampasas died June 8, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held June 16 at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial with military honors will be at 1 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. W.C.

Mrs. Wilkinson

Velma Jordan “Sug” Wilkinson was born Feb. 11, 1943 in Lampasas to the late Bill and Ollie Jordan. She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1961. Wilkinson on March 4, 1961. They traveled across the country, as he worked for Brown and Root.

Mr. Montgomery

Bobby J. Montgomery Sr., 83, died in Lampasas on June 6, 2021. He was born on Oct. 23, 1937 in Munday, Texas to James Paul and Essie Mae (Bridges) Montgomery. In 1970, he moved from Harker Heights to Lampasas, where he lived the rest of his life. In 1958, Bobby joined the U.S.

Mr. Moseley

Tom Moseley, 53, died at his residence in Gatesville on June 3, 2021. He was born in Temple on Oct. 20, 1967 to Sonny and Patsy (Goodson) Moseley. He lived in Coryell County all his life.

Mr. Herring

Larry Neal Herring, 78, of Kempner died on June 2, 2021 at St. David’s North Medical Center in Austin. He was born in Lampasas on March 17, 1943 to D.C. and Thelma (Hayter) Herring. Larry and Jorja Pickett married on June 5, 1964 in Kempner. He lived his entire life in the Lampasas area.

Mrs. Hudson

Bobbie Jo Hudson, 89, died Feb. 7, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. June 12 at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with visitation an hour prior.

Mr. Lindsey

Vernon Monroe Lindsey, 94, died on May 26, 2021 at his home in Lampasas. Visitation was held May 31 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were June 1, also at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with interment at Smith Cemetery in Kempner.

Mr. Palmer

Kenneth Wayne Palmer, 47, of Lometa died May 31, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. June 12 at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa. Kenneth was born to Kenneth Ward Palmer and Sandra Kay Shumate on Oct. 1, 1973 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

Mr. Boyd

James Darnell Boyd, 81, died June 4, 2021 at his home in Lampasas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. June 8 at Sneed Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at San Saba City Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the services, from 10-11 a.m.
