Mrs. Asbury

Wanda Faye Asbury, 75, died on April 2, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. A memorial service will be held at Lometa United Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. on April 8, with a family visitation and luncheon after the service.

Mrs. Taylor

Patsy Taylor, 89, died April 2, 2023, in Dallas. She was born Patsy Ann Gardenhire to Walter Van and Wanda Faye Rasmussen Gardenhire on Jan. 29, 1934, in Cisco. Her mother wanted to name her Patsy because she thought it was uncommon. Patsy was the number-one girl’s name in 1934!

Mr. Bunnell

Charles T. Bunnell, 80, of Kempner died March 31, 2023 in a Waco hospital. Charles was born Sept. 24, 1942 in Gatesville to Oscar C. Bunnell and Ruby Mae Chambers Bunnell. He attended Killeen schools until his graduation from Killeen High School with the Class of 1961.

Mrs. Lincycomb

Iona Lee Lincycomb, 96, died on March 27, 2023, in Clifton. Services will be held at First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas on April 1 at 11 a.m., with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Crumley

Katherine Crumley, 55, died at her home on March 25, 2023, in Lometa, Katherine was born on Sept. 5, 1967, in Austin to Wilbur and Edna Eady. She collected hummingbird figurines and loved painting butterflies. She also loved her family and kitties.

Mr. Stewart

Robert “Butch” Stewart, 79, died on March 25, 2023, in Lampasas. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Lampasas on April 1 at 3 p.m., with visitation from 2-3 p.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. Butch was born in Bell County to Paul F.
