Ms. Ratliff

Mary Joan (Parker) Ratliff of Bartlett, Texas, died on Feb. 4, 2023. Although she was born in Arizona in 1935, Joan’s family settled in Henderson, Texas, before purchasing a cattle ranch in Lampasas. Joan graduated as valedictorian of the Lampasas High School Class of 1952.

Funeral set at Grace Fellowship for City Councilman Randy Clark

Randall “Randy” Glenn Clark, 70, of Lampasas, died on Feb. 5, 2023, in Austin. Visitation with the family is set for Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church in Lampasas. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Ms. McAndrew

Linda McAndrew died on Feb. 1, 2023, at the age of 72. She was born in Bertram, resided in Monahans and finally settled in Lampasas, where she was a member of the Lampasas High School Class of ’68 and raised her three sons in this same community.

Service planned Feb. 11 for Cox

Former Lampasas County commissioner Jack Byron Cox, 83, died Jan. 29, 2023, in Lampasas. Memorial services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. Cox was born on Nov. 8, 1939 in Lampasas County to J. Herman and Bethel Dee (Mitchell) Cox and was raised in Adamsville.

Councilman Randy Clark dies; funeral details pending at press time

Lampasas City Councilman Randy Clark died Feb. 5 at Austin Heart Hospital. He was 70. Funeral services are pending. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. Clark was elected to the City Council in 2019.

Mrs. Davis

Mary Black Griffin Davis, 84, of Lampasas died on Jan. 29, 2023, at Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights. Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Lampasas on Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.

Mr. Walker

Doyle Rex Walker, 87, of Lampasas died on Jan. 26, 2023 in Temple. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 1 at First Street Church of Christ, with Kevin Haynes to officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Jan.

Mr. Harrington

DEATHS Patrick Kevin Harrington died on Jan. 16, 2023 at his home in New Braunfels, where he lived with his sister, Tina Miller. Born July 1, 1958 in Roswell, New Mexico, Kevin was adopted at birth by Lois and Clayton Harrington.

Funeral set for Linda Johnson

Funeral services will be held Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church for Linda Ann Johnson of Lampasas, with visitation at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. Mrs. Johnson died Jan. 23, 2023 at the age of 85.

Carolyn Foster Reed, 73, died on Jan. 20, 2023 at Ascension Seton Williamson in Round Rock. Visitation will be at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Jan. 24 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Jan. 25 at 2 p.m.
