Joel David Dickison

Joel David Dickison, 56, passed away on December 24, 2020 at his home in Lometa, Texas. He was born on November 4, 1964 in San Saba, Texas to Jack and Gladys Felts Dickison. Joel grew up in Lampasas, Texas. He graduated from Lometa High School in 1983.

Shahryar “Sam” Shahry, 66, of Lampasas died Dec. 17, 2020. He was born in Awahz, Iran, and immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goloum and Agazdeh; and by his first wife, Sedigeh, with whom he had his first two sons.

John Wilburn Chambers Sr., 89, died Dec. 25, 2020 at his residence in Lampasas. Graveside services will be held at noon Jan. 2, 2021 at Warner Cemetery in Lake Victor. Sneed Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. John was born on Nov.

Ryan Titus, 39, of Granbury, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020. Celebration of Life service is at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2021 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury. Ryan was born on June 17, 1981 in Temple, Texas to Rick and Donna Titus.

Mr. Harwell

R. Michael Harwell was born June 23, 1942 in Lampasas to Joe D. and Nova Dell Harwell. He was the oldest of three brothers, Joe Haden and Jeff Lee Harwell. His parents lived their whole lives in Lampasas, and raised their family there. R.

Mr. Ladyman

William Walter “Bill” Ladyman, 93, died Dec. 19, 2020 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 23 at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa, followed by a visitation at the Lometa Church of Christ. Bill was born Nov. 12, 1927 in Brownwood to W.L.

Mrs. Tolbert

Thelma Tolbert, 78, of Lampasas died Dec. 16, 2020. Graveside services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Dec. 21. Visitation was at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove on Dec. 20. Mrs. Tolbert was born on Oct. 24, 1942 in Empire, Alabama to Kirklin Duke and Eula Woods.

Mr. Valles

Julio “JR” Valles, 75, of Childress and formerly of Lampasas, died Dec. 19, 2020 in Amarillo. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 28 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are private but will be livestreamed via Sneed Funeral Chapel's Facebook page.

Mrs. Gary

Ibeth Estella Gary, 46, of Lampasas died on Dec. 11, 2020. Visitation was held Dec. 17 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Dec. 18 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, with a memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. at East Side Baptist Church in Killeen.

John Lonnie Hoozer, 69, died on Dec. 15, 2020 in Killeen. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Dec. 20 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas, with the funeral service to start at 3 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Dec. 21 at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, Louisiana.
