Raleigh Houston Van Trease, a successful lawyer and businessman, and resident of Austin, Texas died unexpectedly on January 17, 2021, at his ranch in Lampasas County.

Liliana Maria Torregrossa Burnett-Brame, 93, died on Jan. 8, 2021 in Lampasas. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 23, with visitation an hour prior at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.  Liliana was born on Nov.

Mrs. Roberson

Mary Ann Roberson, 82, of Lampasas died Jan. 19, 2021, peacefully at her home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at Howard Cemetery near Devine.

Mr. Hart

Lawrence E. Hart, 84, died on Jan. 16, 2021 in Temple. He was born on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio, the second child of Don A. Hart Sr. and Esther Downs Hart. He lived and worked in Austin from 1942 to 1999. Larry had two brothers, Don Hart and Joe Hart, both deceased.

Mrs. Shook

Patricia Elizabeth Shook, 73, died Jan. 18, 2021 in Comanche. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 30 at Hillsdale Cemetery. Patricia graduated from Evant High School, and for most of her career she worked in hospital kitchens in both De Leon and Hamilton.

Mrs. Roberts

Edna Roberts, 98, formerly of Killeen, died of natural causes on Jan. 15, 2021 at the Lampasas Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Edna Alvina Radke Roberts was born to Harry and Emma Radke on Nov. 7, 1922 in Brandon, Texas, about 10 miles east of Hillsboro. Edna was the youngest of six siblings.

Mrs. Casper

Elizabeth Kay Casper, 66, of Kempner died on Jan. 14, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. Memorial service will be held Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Kempner. Elizabeth was born Sept, 1, 1954 in San Antonio to Jesse and Ginger Grant.

Mr. Putnam

Earl E. Putnam Jr., 90, died on Sept. 23, 2020 in Lampasas, Texas. Earl Eugene Putnam was Earl Eugene Putnam was born in Hondo to Earl Eugene Putnam Sr. and Bessie Blanche Sissel Putnam. He attended The University of Texas, where he met and married Deanie Burks in 1950.
