Liliana married Sanford Burnett in 1951 in Udine, Italy, and they were married for 31 years. They met when the Allies liberated Italy from Germany, as Sanford was in the United States Army.

Liliana married her second husband, Robert E. Brame, in 1985 in Lampasas.

Liliana was a member of the Navion Society, along with Robert. She enjoyed flying and ballroom dancing.
