Marcia Ann Carnley, 83, died on May 20, 2021. Visitation will be May 28 from 6-8 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral and interment services will be private. Marcia was born May 7, 1938 in Preston, Minnesota, to Bernard and Hilda Olson Johnson. She married Thomas C. Carnley in 1956.

O'Dean L. Hammett Jr., 80, died at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on May 16, 2021. May 16, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. May 28 at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Graveside services with military honors will follow at 2 p.m.

Lillian Pauline "Miss Polly" Sorrells, 84, died on April 23, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. Memorial services will be held May 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Polly was born on March 14, 1937 in Lampasas to Lila Broadway and Kenith Jewell. She married Charles A.

Mrs. Shifflett

Martha Louise Shifflett, 79, of Bertram died at Seton Highland Lakes Hospital in Burnet on May 16, 2021. Martha was born to Willis Jeff “Rowdy” Joiner and Laverne Elizabeth King Joiner on Dec. 25, 1941 in Paint Rock, Texas.

Mrs. Dunn

Charlotte Rose Dunn, 85, of Copperas Cove died at Lily Springs Rehabilitation Center in Lampasas on May 7, 2021. Charlotte had lived in Copperas Cove since 2016, when she moved there from Ogden, Utah. She was born on June 24, 1935 in Tamms, Illinois to Julia Sheltie Maze and her husband.

Mrs. Perkins

Janie Sue Morrison Brown Perkins of Naruna, McCreaville and Lampasas was born Nov. 16, 1931. She died peacefully at Lampasas Assisted Living Facility on May 5, 2021, at age 89. Graveside services were held at Naruna Cemetery on May 10.

Bobby Fritz Bostic

Bobby Fritz Bostic, age 82 of Lampasas and formerly of Burnet passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from complications of Parkinson’s. He was born October 7, 1938, in Burnet to Fritz and Opal McDaniel Bostic. Bob is remembered by his family as first being a Christian, raised in a Christian home.

Mr. Alexander

Ronald "Ronnie" Scott Alexander, 79, of Lampasas died April 30, 2021 at his residence. A memorial celebration will be held May 22 at 1 p.m. at New Covenant Church in Lampasas with Pastor Darrell Feemster officiating. Ronnie was born on Nov. 25, 1941 in Lampasas to Charles Albert Alexander Jr.

Mrs. Sluder

Angel Michelle Sluder, 34, of Lampasas died at St. David’s Hospital in Austin on April 25, 2021. She was born on Jan. 12, 1987 in Llano to Delbert and Konnett Bynum Cloud. She grew up in the Lampasas area and had lived in Rockport several years before relocating to Lampasas over 10 years ago.
