Ronald "Ronnie" Scott Alexander, 79, of Lampasas died April 30, 2021 at his residence.
A memorial celebration will be held May 22 at 1 p.m. at New Covenant Church in Lampasas with Pastor Darrell Feemster officiating.
Ronnie was born on Nov. 25, 1941 in Lampasas to Charles Albert Alexander Jr. and Ollie LaVerne Goss.
He graduated from Lampasas High School in 1960, and retired from LCRA and the city of Lampasas, where he worked at the Hancock Park Golf Course.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother, Terry; granddaughter, Tamara; son, Charles; and his wife, Patricia.
Survivors include daughters Sandra Bradley and husband Gerald, Vickie Clark and husband Russell, all of Lampasas, and Kim Smith and husband Carter of Wimberley; sisters Debbie McClure and Pamela Taylor of Gatesville; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Ronnie enjoyed golf, RV'ing, woodworking, traveling and was an avid fisherman. On a pretty day, he could be found at Inks Lake.
Memorials may be made to New Covenant Church, Generations fund.
