David Brian Denning, 61, of Kempner died at his home on April 9, 2022. He was born Jan. 17, 1961 in Taylorville, Illinois, the son of Elwood and Rose Marie (Curry) Denning. He met Judith Petersilge in his hometown, and they married Nov. 20, 1979. David had a lifelong career in telecommunications.

Charles Richard Howe, 78, of Kempner died March 15, 2022, at his residence in Kempner. He was born in La Marque on May 24, 1943, to Hank and Lois (Halliburton) Howe. Chuck grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1962. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army.

Jesse Guadalupe Cruz, 50, of Lometa died on March 14, 2022 in Temple. He was born on Aug. 2, 1971, in Brownfield to Joe and Margarita (Felan) Cruz. Jesse had lived in Lometa since 1983. He was a Certified Nursing Assistant and did general labor in the Lometa area.
