Mr. Denning

David Brian Denning, 61, of Kempner died at his home on April 9, 2022. He was born Jan. 17, 1961 in Taylorville, Illinois, the son of Elwood and Rose Marie (Curry) Denning. He met Judith Petersilge in his hometown, and they married Nov. 20, 1979. David had a lifelong career in telecommunications.

Mr. Southworth

Jeffery Neil Southworth, 64, of Kempner died on March 28, 2022. Graveside services with military honors will be held at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery on April 20 at 9 a.m. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Neubauer

Carl William Neubauer, 60, of Lampasas died at his residence on Feb. 4, 2022. Carl was born on May 26, Carl was born on May 26, 1961, in Anchorage, Alaska to Dean and Donna Bruss Neubauer. He had lived in Lampasas for many years.

Mr. Anderson

Erik Christopher Anderson, 32, died on March 19, 2022 at his home in San Antonio. He was born on Aug. 8, 1989 in Temple to Michael Leroy Anderson and Deena Lee Braun Weems. A service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on April 9 at 11 a.m.

Jerry “J.D./Hippie” Thomas, 73, of Lometa died on March 17, 2022, in Temple. A viewing will be offered anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on April 1 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.

Mr. Howe

Charles Richard Howe, 78, of Kempner died March 15, 2022, at his residence in Kempner. He was born in La Marque on May 24, 1943, to Hank and Lois (Halliburton) Howe. Chuck grew up in Lampasas and graduated from Lampasas High School in 1962. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army.

Mr. Cruz

Jesse Guadalupe Cruz, 50, of Lometa died on March 14, 2022 in Temple. He was born on Aug. 2, 1971, in Brownfield to Joe and Margarita (Felan) Cruz. Jesse had lived in Lometa since 1983. He was a Certified Nursing Assistant and did general labor in the Lometa area.

Mr. Green

Roy “Timothy” Green, 65, of Lampasas died on March 9, 2022, at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. Visitation was held March 13 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were March 14 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel, with interment at Kempner Cemetery.
