William Franklin “Ray” Sanchez died at his home in Lampasas on Oct. 25, 2022. He had lived in Lampasas his whole life, born on Feb. 8, 1961, to Atilano Sanchez Sr. and Juanita Rendon Sanchez. Ray was a painter by trade and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Jane Wolfe Wieser, 101, died on Oct. 14, 2022, at her home in Lampasas. She was born in Groesbeck on July 5, 1921, to Herbert and Molly Wolfe. Jane grew up in Hico, graduated from Hico High School and attended Baylor University.

Laura Elaine Goodwin Jones, 75, of Lampasas died on Oct. 2, 2022. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church Lampasas fellowship hall on Oct. 22 from 1-3 pm.

Jeffery Alan Freeburg, 51, died Oct. 13, 2022, in Goldthwaite. Graveside services were held at Townsen Cemetery in Adamsville on Oct. 16. Jeffery was born on July 8, 1971 in Santa Barbara, California, the son of Leland R. and Trudy A. Freeburg.

Retired football coach Bill Pringle died on Oct. 13, 2022, at age 88 after a battle with cancer and diabetes. He was born on Aug. 12, 1934, in Abilene to Erna Mae and Walter Odis Pringle. Coach Pringle was best known for his years as a college and high school football coach in Texas.

Ernest Brewer Jr., 84, of Izoro, died Oct. 13, 2022 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. Rosary was recited Oct. 17 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel, followed by visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be held Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
