Mrs. Dumas

Sarah McBride Dumas died on March 28, 2024.

Sarah was born on April 11, 1934, in Bell County. At the time of her death, she was living in Granbury.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Dumas; her parents, J.D. and Aleen McBride; brother, Dale McBride; daughter-inlaw, Ann Dumas; nieces Col. Linda Diane Green and JoLea McBride; and nephew, Rick Dillinger.

She is survived by her son, David Dumas of Alpine; granddaughter, Amy Donahue of Oakland, California; grandson, Sonny Marchbanks of New Orleans; sisters Mildred McBride McKean, and Sue McBride Osborne and husband Clinton Osborne of Justin, Texas; and a host ofother relatives.

Sarah volunteered at the Lampasas hospital with her friend Bonnie Owens. She enjoyed embroidery and making quilts.

Graveside service will be held April 5, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas. Services are under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
