Observances planned in Kempner, Lampasas

A Memorial Day ceremony will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Sylvia Tucker Memorial Park in Kempner. Another ceremony is set for 11:30 a.m. at the Lampasas County Courthouse. The American Legion Briggs Wright Post 277 also issued a flag etiquette reminder: On Memorial Day, the U.S.

FFA members are state-bound

Museum closed while undergoing roof repairs

The Lampasas County Museum is working toward recovery after Mother’s Day rains flooded the building through a leaky roof. The museum will remain closed for the rest of the summer due to damage sustained.
