After having posted declining sales tax revenue over the first quarter of 2024, the city of Lampasas saw its sales tax rebate rise 19% in April. That marks the highest one-month percentage gain since January 2022.

Public ceremony set to usher in new fire engine

The Lampasas Fire Department will host an official Push-In Ceremony for its newest fire engine Saturday at 10 a.m. at the fire station, 1107 E. Fourth St. The ceremony will commission the new truck and officially place it into service.
