Crews from Lampasas County Commissioner Precinct 2 started paving a section of County Road 1403 between Nix and Lometa last week.
Lampasas Mayor reported that Lampasas County, as of Wednesday evening, had 24 active cases of COVID-19 and 28 recoveries. That added up to a total of 52 cases since early spring.
Kempner Water Supply Corp. has rescinded a boil-water notice for customers in the Pecan Valley subdivision on County Roads 3350 and 3351. KWSC sent a notification Tuesday afternoon that customers in the subdivision north of Kempner city limits no longer need to boil water before consuming it.
