Dorothy Mae Bergeron

Longtime Rockdale resident Dorothy Mae Bergeron, 94, returned to her heavenly home Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Lampasas. Funeral services, provided by Phillips & Luckey in Rockdale, were scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Clark

Neva Burch Clark died on Dec. 23, 2020 in Georgetown, Texas. She was born on June 26, 1925 to Tom and Lola Burch in Mahomet. She lived almost 90 years in the little house on the prairie where she was born. Neva was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Morgan M.

Mrs. Hart

Rebekah Denison Hart, 78, died Dec. 28, 2020, due to complications of COVID-19. Rebekah was born July 27, 1942, in El Paso to Carolyn and Raleigh Denison. When she was young, her mother made Lampasas home.

Mr. Klose

Gary Wayne Klose, 72, of Savoy, Texas died peacefully at his residence on Dec. 29, 2020. Gary was born on Nov. 30, 1948 in Lampasas to Melvin F. Klose Sr. and Ola Almarine Lewis Klose. He grew up in Lometa and graduated from high school in 1967.

Mr. Richardson

Jerry L. Richardson, 73, of Lampasas died on Dec. 10, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 9, 2021 at Townsen Cemetery in Adamsville. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, jimmy, and by his father, Garland.

Joel David Dickison

Joel David Dickison, 56, passed away on December 24, 2020 at his home in Lometa, Texas. He was born on November 4, 1964 in San Saba, Texas to Jack and Gladys Felts Dickison. Joel grew up in Lampasas, Texas. He graduated from Lometa High School in 1983.

Mr. Shahry

Shahryar “Sam” Shahry, 66, of Lampasas died Dec. 17, 2020. He was born in Awahz, Iran, and immigrated to the United States in the late 1970s. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goloum and Agazdeh; and by his first wife, Sedigeh, with whom he had his first two sons.
