Mrs. Pierce-Flores

Janice Lynette Pierce-Flores, 49, of Lampasas died on Aug. 25, 2021 at her residence. Visitation will be held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Aug. 31 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be Sept. 1 at Bend Cemetery at 10 a.m. Janice was born on July 27, 1972 in Burnet to Norman and Ann Pierce.

Ms. Alcaras

Sally Alcaras, 63, of Lampasas died on Aug. 20, 2021 at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen. She was born on Sept. 14, 1957 in Lampasas to Louis Garza Sr. and Mary Marez Garza. Sally was a lifetime resident of Lampasas.

Ms. Eschenlohr

Anna Marie Eschenlohr, 71, of Lampasas died at her residence on Aug. 21, 2021. She was born on June 4, 1950 in Germany. She had lived in Lampasas, then North Carolina, back to Texas and finally settled in Kempner. She was the original owner of the Kempner Brick Oven. Anna loved being a homemaker.

Ms. Hood

Frances Ann Hood, 78, died on Aug. 23, 2021 at Lily Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lampasas. s Funeral services were held at Sneed Funeral Chapel on Aug. 26, with a time of visitation prior to the service. Interment followed at Rock Church Cemetery in Rumley.

Mr. Kattner

Charles E. Kattner, 31, of Copperas Cove died on Aug. 20, 2021 at AdventHealth Rollins Brook in Lampasas. Charles was born on Sept. 15, 1989 in Temple to Richard W. Kattner and Jannetta Arms Kattner. He was the chef at Lil’ Tex Restaurant in Copperas Cove.

Mrs. Rush

Alice Elizabeth Langford Rush, 89, died on Aug. 23, 2021 at her home in Lometa. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 27 at School Creek Cemetery. Sneed Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sapien

Daniel L. Sapien, 76, of Terrell and formerly of Lampasas, died on Aug. 19, 2021 at Dallas Medical Center in Farmers Branch. Daniel was born on Jan. 18, 1945 in Lampasas to Gumencindo Sapien and Manuela Longoria Sapien. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Daniel was a carpenter by trade.

Ms. Melendez

LaDonna Marie Sapien Melendez, 50, of Terrell died Aug. 22, 2021 at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett. She was born Dec. 31, 1970 in Dallas to Daniel Sapien and Ramona Hartsell Sapien. As a child, she lived in Lampasas and moved to the Dallas area when she was a teen.

Ella Jean Teague

Loving Memory – Ella Jean Teague Ella Teague was born in Ft Davis, Texas in 1934 to Barney William Teague & Maude Adele Cooksey Teague as child number 8. Her 50 years of teaching showed her love of education and was a gift that touched many lives over the years as Coach, Counselor, and Teacher.
