Charles E. Kattner, 31, of Copperas Cove died on Aug. 20, 2021 at AdventHealth Rollins Brook in Lampasas.
Charles was born on Sept. 15, 1989 in Temple to Richard W. Kattner and Jannetta Arms Kattner.
He was the chef at Lil’ Tex Restaurant in Copperas Cove. He had attended the Killeen Fire Academy and was a certified firefighter. He also had earned his EMT certification.
Charles was a member of First Baptist Church in Copperas Cove.
He loved his 1992 Ford F150 that he inherited from his grandfather.
Charles enjoyed outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting and golf. He loved his pet chinchilla Bubbles. He loved his family and was always willing when someone needed help.
He is survived by his parents Richard, and Jannetta Kattner of Lampasas; one brother, Rocky Wolfe of Lampasas; one sister, Anna Busch of Gatesville; one niece, Roxy Wolfe; one nephew, Logan Busch; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Charles was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; four uncles, Micky, Bobby, Marvin and Charles Arms; and by one aunt, Nelda Foshin.
On Aug. 28, visitation will be held at 10 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas, with a service to follow at 11 a.m. officiated by Rodney Andrews.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas after the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
