David Compton, 74, died on May 2, 2024 of Lewy body dementia.He was born on Jan. 14, 1950, in Burnet. David had resided in Big Spring, Austin, Lockhart, Lampasas, San Marcos, and Denver, Colorado.David attended Austin’s Lanier High School.

Mr. McHugh

Joseph “Joe” George McHugh, 61, died unexpectedly at his home in Lampasas on April 29, 2024.He was born on Oct. 20, 1962, in Oakland, California. Joe spent his childhood years in California, Iowa and Saskatchewan, Canada.

Mrs. Banks

Nedra Elmina Banks was born Aug. 25, 1938 in the Grassland community in Garza County, Texas to Wesley Alvin Morris and Valeria Dalton. The family moved to Lampasas when she was young.She died May 2, 2024 in Austin.Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon May 8 at Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Gill Jr.

Justo Gill Jr. died May 1, 2024 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lampasas.He was born Dec. 24, 1941 in Burnet to Justo Sr. and Josefina Gill.

Genevieve Avis Kelley, 90, died on April 30, 2024, in Lampasas.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on May 8 from 10-11:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa at noon.

Mary Katherine Dindot, 78, died peacefully on April 28, 2024.Her life was celebrated at the First Presbyterian Church in Navasota on May 2, 2024, followed by a graveside service at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. Nobles Funeral Chapel had charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Flores

Sandra Flores died on April 29, 2024, at the age of 58.Sandra was born on Aug. 1, 1965, in Del Rio to Alfonso and Oralia Flores. Raised in a large and affectionate family, she was outgoing and always had a smile on her face.
