Mrs. Wittenburg

Joyce Nell Schneider Wittenburg died on Feb. 22, 2025, just two days after celebrating her 89th birthday.Joyce was born on Feb. 20, 1936, to Herbert and Malinda Schneider, who instilled in her a strong work ethic, deep faith and a compassionate heart.

Laura Berkman, 64, of Lampasas died Feb. 13, 2025 at AdventHealth Central Texas hospital in Killeen.Service information is not available at this time.Laura was born Aug. 4, 1960, in Utica, New York and grew up in New York.She had worked in the medical field for a number of years before retiring.

Mrs. Harris

Dorthea “Dot” Latrylle Harris died on Feb. 11, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was a longtime resident of Bedford, and a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, greatgrandmother and aunt.Dot was born in Cooper, Texas, on Dec. 21, 1935.

Mr. Davis

Donald Jackson Davis, 85, died on Feb. 10, 2025, in Lampasas.Don was born on Sept. 17, 1939, on the Davis Ranch to W. Forrest Davis and C. Roberteen Kendrick Davis.He grew up with a strong sense of family and community. Don was active in the FFA where he showed sheep and steers.

Mr. Akridge

The Rev. Paul Richard Akridge Jr., 62, died on Feb. 8, 2025, at his home in Lampasas, after many years of battling illness.A graveside service will be held at School Creek Cemetery on Feb. 16 at 3 p.m.Richard was born on Sept. 28, 1962, in Ashburn, Georgia to Paul and Anne (Pate) Akridge.

Mr. Williams

Richard R. Williams of Copperas Cove, age 90, died on Jan. 21, 2025, in Killeen.Dick was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Arthur.

Mrs. Vann

Nelda Faye Vann died on Feb. 2, 2025, surrounded by her family.A service will be held at First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas on Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. A visitation will be held at First Street Church of Christ at 10 a.m., with a luncheon at 11 a.m. All are invited to attend.

Mrs. Bledsoe

Sulynn Elliott Bledsoe, 74, died on Jan. 31, 2025, at her home in Lampasas.Memorial services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Feb. 7 at 2 p.m., with visitation an hour prior.Sulynn was born on May 1, 1950, in Iraan to Jimmie Franklin and Peggy Hale Elliott.

Mrs. Bunnell

Tana S. Bunnell, 75, of Kempner, died on Jan. 29, 2025.She was born in San Saba on Sept. 12, 1949 to parents Hugh and June Rainbolt.Tana grew up in San Saba for most of her life and graduated from Killeen High School in 1967.
