William James Dumas, known to many as Jim, died on Jan. 22, 2025, just days shy of his 94th birthday.Born to William Norman and Mary Jewel Dumas, he was raised in Izoro.James graduated from Lampasas High School in 1948.

Floyd Stephen Cox, 54, died on Jan. 21, 2025, at Caraday of Lampasas in Lampasas.Graveside services will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Burnet County at 2 p.m. on Jan. 30.After the service, dessert, coffee and tea will be served at the Lake Victor Community Center.
