Kathy I. Hultz, age 71, of Copperas Cove, died on March 4, 2025.She was born on June 28, 1953 in Brady, Texas to Raymond R Cambron and Jesse (Stone) Cambron.Kathy married Mike Hultz on Oct. 15, 1977 in Copperas Cove City Park.

Billy Jack Garner died on March 6, 2025 at the age of 97.He was born on the family ranch in Lampasas to Milton Edward and Dicie Beatrice Garner. Jack and his twin brother Mack joined three older brothers in the family.While in Lampasas schools, he met the love of his life, Jo Ann Witcher.

Mr. Cox

Franklin David Cox of Lampasas died, surrounded by family, on Oct. 31, 2023.David was born in Lake Victor, Burnet County, to Elmer and Lola Cox.The large family moved to Lampasas, where David graduated from high school.David enlisted in the U.S. Army and served overseas during the Korean War.

Linda Kay (Malcik) Cox of Lampasas died on Feb. 18, 2025.Kay was born on Dec. 5, 1948 in Temple, Texas to Wilson Malcik and Lillye Mae (Kneblik) Malcik.She graduated from Temple High School in 1966.

Ann Moore Johnson died on Feb. 27, 2025 at her home in Lampasas. She was born on Sept. 4, 1937 to W.T. and Cora Moore. Ann grew up on the family ranch and learned the value of hard work, humility and resilience.

Manuel Martinez, 63, of Lampasas, died on Feb. 28, 2025, in Temple.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on March 5 from 6-8 p.m.The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on March 6 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Harrington

Deborah Kay Harrington died on Feb. 22, 2025, at the age of 61 in Comanche, after a courageous battle with liver cancer.Deborah was born Aug. 13, 1963, at Rollins Brook Hospital in Lampasas to Thomas and Kathleen Farquhar.She attended Lampasas schools all 12 years, graduating with the Class of 1981.

Laura Jean Berkman died on Feb. 13, 2025, in Killeen, surrounded by her daughters.Born on Aug. 4, 1960, in New Hartford, New York, Laura dedicated her life to caring for others, embodying compassion and love in every role she took on.
