Marion Alexander Snell, 84, died at his home on Sulphur Creek in Lampasas on April 10, 2025 surrounded by his family.He was born on May 26, 1940 in San Angelo to Casbeer Snell and Margaret Josephine Alexander Snell.

Mr. Alderson

Charles Stillman “Tim” Alderson was born on Oct. 15, 1928, at Double Horn in Burnet County, to Luther and Amanda (Bailey) Alderson. He died at the age of 96 on April 2, 2025, in Gatesville.On April 16, 1946, Tim married the love of his life, Elizabet Jane Kirby, in San Angelo.

Mr. Vance

Robert “Bobby” Roush Vance, 83, died on April 3, 2025, at his home near Oakalla.Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas at 2 p.m. on April 12. Visitation will be held an hour prior, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery on FM 963 in Oakalla.

Mr. Bocanegra

Cody Ray Bocanegra, 34, died on April 1, 2025, at AdventHealth Central Texas in Killeen.Visitation was held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on April 7 from 6-8 p.m.Services will be held at Lampasas Community Church on April 8 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. King

Timothy Alan King, 68, died on March 28, 2025, in Lampasas.Graveside services will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Texas Highway 1431 East in Marble Falls on April 6 at 4 p.m. Visitation will be held at the cemetery chapel prior to the service, where family will greet friends and relatives.

Mrs. Stamness

Angela Marie (Thorman) Stamness, 52, died on March 31, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with multiple health complications and a latestage cancer diagnosis. Despite the hardships she faced, Angela’s spirit remained unbreakable.

Graveside services will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 2 p.m.

Mr. Bessent

Rex Alden Bessent was born on May 7, 1945, in Brownwood, to Melvin Newton Bessent and Ione Stanley Bessent. He grew up on the family farm near the Duren Community in Mills County. He thoroughly enjoyed his time growing up in that area with his brothers Stanley Bessent and Lanny Bessent.
