Harold Raymond “Ray” Hollister Sr. was born on Feb. 3, 1925, at home in East Rush, Pennsylvania to Herman and Josephine (Pierson) Hollister.After residing in East Rush for over 96 years, Ray moved to live with his son in Lampasas, Texas, where he died peacefully on June 29, 2025.

Hyman Izbicki of Lampasas lost his four-year battle with cancer on June 24, 2025.He was born on May 14, 1951, in Barletta, Italy, to Abraham and Rosa Izbicki.The family immigrated to the United States in 1956. They initially lived in Chicago and later settled in Sioux City, Iowa.
