Kim Chaney Landers was born Sept. 22, 1961, in Lampasas to Rex Chaney and Cora Weaks Chaney.
She grew up in Killeen and moved back to Lampasas during her teen years.
She married and had two children: a daughter, Tiffany Landers, and a son, Drew Landers.
She lived her life as a homemaker. She loved children. She made crafts and art throughout her life. Her greatest joy was making crafts, costumes and other items for the children and her family members.
She created wedding dresses, baked cakes for all types of occasions, and gifted crafts and artwork to all those who were close to her. She had a huge heart for her nieces and nephews who loved to spend time with her. They also were showered with gifts that she had made.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Rex Chaney.
She is survived by her partner, Daniel; daughter, Tiffany Landers (Montana); son, Drew Landers (Ashlee); mother, Cora Weaks; sisters Pamela Bocanegra (Jerry), Rexanna Bennett (Kris) and Michelle Litton (Chrissy); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 19 at Heritage Funeral Home in Lampasas.
