Nancy Bradford, 81, died at Meadowood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Grapevine on June 12, 2023. Nancy had devoted her life to her two children, Randy (Francine) Bradford of Grapevine and daughter Carrie Bradford Ward of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Nancy was born on June 2, 1942 to Albert and Elizabeth Culver in Lampasas.
She graduated from Lampasas High School in 1960 and attended two years of study at Southwest Texas State.
After raising her two children, she went to work as an administrative professional at FDIC and Countrywide Mortgage, and she also worked as a sales associate for department stores like Lord & Taylor and Macy’s before retiring.
Nancy was a faithful servant and active volunteer at Waterview Church of Christ in Richardson, where she was a member for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Galaxy Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association.
Prior to moving to Dallas, Nancy was a member of Friendswood Church of Christ in Friendswood, where she also was an active volunteer.
Besides her two children, Nancy is survived by five grandchildren, Matthew, Ella, Sarah, Katy and Travis; her sister, Arlene (Tom); brother, Lee (Jackie); and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held June 17 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas, with a celebration of her life to follow at First Street Church of Christ.
