Betty Ann Yeske, 93, of Lampasas, died on Sept. 12, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Sept. 30 at 2 p.m., with visitation from noon to 2 p.m. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas will follow the service.

Betty was born on Aug. 30, 1930 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Roman Thomas Loboda and Elizabeth (Marcinowski) Loboda.

She married Alfred Yeske in 1952 in Milwaukee. They worked as missionaries for several years in Mexico with their children before moving to Lampasas.

Upon moving to Lampasas, Alfred started Yeske Builders. Betty was primarily a homemaker but also served as secretary for the family business.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, cooking, playing Skip-Bo and gardening. She felt her biggest accomplishment was raising her five children in the Lord and getting them all through school.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Yeske, and her son, Ronald Yeske.

Survivors include sons Steven Yeske and wife Belinda, Bryan Yeske and wife Patti, and Daniel Yeske and wife Rebekah; her daughter, Christine Appleton and husband Andrew; daughter-inlaw, Kay Yeske; her sister, Nancy Pliss and husband Richard; 22 grandchildren; and numerous greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.
