Rosa Sanchez died on Nov. 19, 2023, at her home in Lampasas. She was born on Feb. 13, 1947, in Burnet to Bill Salazar Sr. and Felipa Salazar.
Memorial services will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Nov. 29 at 2 p.m., with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Rosa grew up in Lampasas. She married Anthony Sanchez Sr., and they were married for 45 years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, reading, movies, cooking, baking and sewing.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sisters, Angel and Janie; and a brother, Eddie.
Survivors include her daughters Rachel Sanchez, and Yvonne Sanchez and fiancé Jake; sons Anthony Sanchez Jr. and wife Eleta, Antilano Sanchez and wife Lilly, and Aaron Sanchez; grandchildren Brendon and Darren Jones, Rebekah Henderson, Alexandra, Averie and Nathan Porter, Cross, Selby, Case and Saylor Sanchez, Jalias and Cain Sanchez, and Selena Sanchez; greatgrandchildren Darren Jr., Kendyl, Kannon, Odin, Viviana, Roman and Kolt; four sisters and six brothers.
