Sallie B. Michel died on March 3, 2024, at Lily Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lampasas.

Services will be private for the family. Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Sallie was born in Winnsboro and moved to Lampasas in 1987, where she resided until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Michel; her daughter, Donna Michel Hammons; and her grandson, Jade Hammons.

Survivors include her sons John Michel III (Linda) of San Antonio and Jim Michel (Belinda) of Amarillo; her daughters Judy Gray (Ronnie) of Lampasas and Jana Butts (Clifford) of Lampasas; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
