Quezal Kuuipoaloha McCoy-Cooper, 59, of Lampasas died at her residence Dec. 18, 2021.
She was born in Alameda, California on July 26, 1962 to Frank McCoy and Mildred Ranken McCoy.
She had lived in Lampasas the past 26 years and loved making tied fleece blankets, watching Nat Geo, cooking and baking.
Quezal loved her family and provided a welcoming home, especially during the holidays, which she adored.
She and George Cooper were married on Sept. 18, 1982, and had 39 years of marriage.
She had worked as a corrections officer. Quezal was of the Mormon faith. She is survived by one
She is survived by one daughter, Stacie Nalani Rainwater and husband Dale Scott Rainwater of Lampasas; four brothers, John, Pat, Ray and Bully McCoy; a sister, Crystal Kehanlani McCoy and partner Dawn Bradley of San Antonio; and one grandson, Ryan Keoki Fletcher.
No services are scheduled at this time for Quezal.
