Mrs. Green

Wanda was born June 27, 1937, in Rochester, Texas to the late RD Belyeu and Eva Holly Belyeu. She had two brothers, Clevie and Randle, and a sister, Shirley.

She met William Wayne Story, and they were married. Though this relationship wasn’t permanent, they did have three children together Lorna, Dennis and Denise -- and remained friends.

She met Jay Edwin Green, and they were married years later.

Wanda had a passion for sewing. She would make beautiful clothes, dolls, blankets and quilts for her family.

She worked as manager of Payless ShoeSource for over 20 years before she retired and then focused her life and love on her grandchildren. In later years there were great-grandchildren as well as great-great-grandchildren that she absolutely loved and adored.

She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley, her brother Randle, her first husband William Story (2002), second husband Jay Green (2010), great-grandson Gage, great-granddaughter Presley and her great-greatgranddaughter Ember.

She is survived by her daughter Lorna and husband John; her son Dennis; her daughter Denise and husband Greg; her brother Clevie; 10 grandchildren, 22 greatgrandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
