Frances Mary (Hilfiger) Frost, 92, died on Dec. 2, 2023, in Lampasas.
A memorial service will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Dec. 30 at 2 p.m.
Frances was born on July 21, 1931, in Potter County, Pennsylvania to Frank and Maude (Krusen) Hilfiger.
After growing up in Ulysses, Pennsylvania and graduating from high school, Frances worked for Galeton Productions in Galeton, Pennsylvania. She also lived in Friendship, New York for many years and worked at Acme Electric in Cuba, New York, before relocating to Lampasas in 1976.
After moving to Texas, Frances operated a home daycare in Lampasas for more than 30 years. She took great pleasure in keeping in touch with many of the children who attended her daycare and enjoyed watching them grow.
On Feb. 20, 1954, Frances married Frederick Frost. They were married for over 56 years.
Frances is survived by her son, Michael; daughters Rene’e (Michael) Nevins and Robyn Boyle; grandchildren Chelsey (Josh), Cheyenne, Bradley, Dayna (Brian) and Brett; great-grandchildren Cassidy, Brody and Brayden; brothers-in-law James (Betty) Frost and Robert Frost; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
