Thelma Louise Ellis, 85, died on Nov. 29, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas on Dec. 3 from 5-7 p.m.
Graveside services will be at Levita Cemetery in Levita on Dec. 4 at noon.
Thelma was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico on May 30, 1938, to Joseph and Vivian Haines. She was one of five siblings.
Thelma lived in Levita, Texas with her husband Bill Ellis, who was a U.S. Army veteran, for a number of years before moving to Lampasas. She lived here for over 20 years. She was a member of Lampasas Baptist Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a younger brother, Joseph Haines.
Survivors include sisters Marie Frasier and Barbara Kester; sons Glenn McDonald, Jeff McDonald, and Wesley McDonald and wife Mary Ann; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
