Jerry “J.D./Hippie” Thomas, 73, of Lometa died on March 17, 2022, in Temple.
A viewing will be offered anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on April 1 at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa on April 2, 2022, at 11 a.m.
After the service, the family has invited everyone back to the Thomas residence, located at 2839 U.S. Highway 190 West in Lometa, to continue celebrating Jerry’s life with a meal and stories.
