Douglas W. Skains, 87, of Lampasas died May 16, 2023 at Lily Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. His body will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
He was born Sept. 3, 1935 in Brownfield.
He had lived in Lampasas for 10 years, having moved here from Canyon City, Colorado. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Lake Victor.
Mr. Skains married Jan Skains on Sept. 5, 2010 in Canyon City.
He is survived by his wife of Lampasas.
